I made these a while ago when i still lived in Idaho, but they were really good. Everyone in my family loved them. I got it out of an old cook book of mine called Alpha-Bakery. So here is the recipe.....................
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cups butter or magarine spftened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp milk
1 cup pie filling or jam (any favor)
Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour, margarine, powdered suger, baking powder, and just enough milk untill dough forms(if dough seems dry mix in more milk, 1 tsp at a time) Divide dough into 6 eaqual parts. Shape each part into a ball. Placed on an ungreased cookie sheet;flatten slightly. Make an indentation, 1 3/4 inches in diameter and about 3/4 inches deep, in center of each flated ball. Fill each indention with about 2 tbsp of pie filling or jam. Bake untill the edges begin to brown, 20 to 25 minutes. It make 6 kart-wheels.
